MQTT & Sparkplug B
MQTT, lightweight pub/sub for IIoT and Unified Namespace
MQTT is the publish-subscribe protocol that underpins most modern IIoT and Unified Namespace (UNS) architectures. ScadaHud ships a first-party MQTT client based on MQTTnet, so you can subscribe to live data, publish tag updates, and integrate with brokers like Mosquitto, HiveMQ, EMQX and AWS IoT.
Was ist MQTT?
MQTT (OASIS standard, ISO/IEC 20922) is a lightweight publish-subscribe protocol designed for low-bandwidth, high-latency networks. Devices publish messages to hierarchical topics (e.g. plant1/line1/motor1/rpm) and clients subscribe to topics. The broker handles routing. MQTT 5 adds session persistence, message expiry and shared subscriptions. Sparkplug B is a specification on top of MQTT that adds metadata, birth/death certificates and a stricter topic structure for industrial use.
Was der ScadaHud-Treiber unterstützt
- MQTT 3.1.1 and MQTT 5 client
- Subscribe with wildcards (+, #) and per-topic QoS 0/1/2
- JSON-path extraction for structured payloads
- Plain text, scalar numeric, JSON object and binary payloads
- TLS / mTLS with client certificates
- Username/password and certificate authentication
- Last Will and Testament for connection-loss detection
- Outbound publishing of tag values on change or schedule
- Sparkplug B compatible topic schemes
